Anyone had any luck with the Keyspan 19HS USB to Serial adapter? I've
got it plugged in and the green LED flashes slowly. According to the
Windows manual "The Keyspan adapter software and hardware are working
properly. The Keyspan serial port is available for use."

Of course that would be fine and dandy if it was connected to a Windows
machine. It's connected to a SunRay 1G. The server OS is JDS 2 (Linux)

according to "modprobe -l | grep usb\/serial" I have the following
modules.
/lib/modules/2.4.19-64GB-SMP/kernel/drivers/usb/serial/usbserial.o
/lib/modules/2.4.19-64GB-SMP/kernel/drivers/usb/serial/keyspan.o

It appears that the keyspan drivers are installed. If I understand the
way things should work, the serial adapter should then appear in
/tmp/SUNWut/units/<MAC.ID>/dev or /tmp/SUNWut/units/<MAC.ID>/devices

It doesn't appear there. Honestly pretty clueless about this whole USB
thing and the SunRays.

Any help or pointing in the right direction would be much appreciated.

TIA

Aaron
