Ok, not sure what to suggest then!

I've installed Sun Ray Server Software many times and not had any issues - I realise that might not be particularly helpful to you, but it does suggest starting again and doing a clean installation, checking each step has been carried out correctly.

I'd suggest running utconfig -u to unconfigure everything, and then starting again.

Others more experienced than I in troubleshooting might suggest something better, but SRSS should 'just work'.

Record the steps you've gone through during installation and post them to the list if you still have problems. That might help us spot anything that's not been carried out correctly.

It might also be worth getting in touch with your local Sun partner or Sun office to see if anyone can give you a hand.

Hi Ralf

Did you run utrestart after finishing the
installation?

Hello, I installed the srss_3.0 software on a

and
it looks like everything is running great on the
server site. The Sun Ray server is configuared as

The SunRay doesn't work at all. The screen only

shows

a hourglass after power on. I ran Ethereal and

snoop,

on the initial poweron of the Ray, I see one

from the SunRay, and that's it.
Any troubleshooting ideas?
