The only way to fix it would be to replace the firmware PROM.  Even that
might not be enough.  It's certainly possible that problem is caused by 
corrupted power-on firmware, but since that firmware is able to get as 
far as detecting a corrupted download image and flashing the LED it can't
be completely scrambled.  It's possible that the reason it can't being up 
the Ethernet is that the unit's network interface has also been damaged.

If the unit is still under warranty then you should be able to get it 
replaced, otherwise it's time to buy a new one.  Ebay is a good place to
look if you need a 150.
