That was a problem until IIRC 2.4.29. It was fixed afterwards and we no
longer have un-umountable filesystems here (having about 500
auto-mount-points). Before that we had them daily, too.
Using Linux as a NFS-server is a totally different beast, and IMHO at
least TCP serving is broken in 2.4 (I have not tested 2.6 in regard to
this).
