I've been wanting to upgrade my Sun Ray server to SRSS3 (it's

business a real requirement, or a Sun-covering-their-butts

12/03 is what was exercised by QA so that's the official
baseline for support. I'd be surprised if 8/03 didn't work
but if it doesn't then it's going to be hard to get anyone to
spend a lot of time diagnosing the cause, and even harder to
get a fix delivered as an SRSS patch (unless the cause happens
to be a problem that also affects a supported release).

Yup, I understand, thanks for the info. If I were to install SRSS3.1 and for some reason I have to fall back to SRSS2, will it simply be a matter of de-installing 3.1 and re-installing 2? Are there any pitfalls there?
