I have been working again on getting SRSS 3.1 working on the latest Ubuntu (5.10).
I have started from a clean install of ubuntu and then followed the instructions for debian at: http://wwwcip.informatik.uni-erlangen.de/~simigern/sunray-debian/3.1fcs.html Everything I have done (and copies of all the key responses) is documented at: http://www.warnock.me.uk/3.1fcs-ubuntu.html utadm does not recognise that I have defined a Sun Ray network. ie: # /opt/SUNWut/sbin/utadm -p Interface Host Network Netmask Assigned IPs # /opt/SUNWut/sbin/utadm -l LAN connections: Off No Sun Ray network configured # My Sun Ray clients get a valid DHCP address (never been an issue despite what utadm says) but stick at status 22D. According to "netstat -lutn" the following are running: # netstat -lutn Active Internet connections (only servers) Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:32770 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:7011 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:32771 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:7012 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:631 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:7007 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN tcp6 0 0 :::7009 :::* LISTEN tcp6 0 0 :::7010 :::* LISTEN udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:67 0.0.0.0:* udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:68 0.0.0.0:* udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:7009 0.0.0.0:* Can anyone help?
