Hello everybody,

I have 4 servers dispatched between 2 failover groups (FG):
(I'll call them here FG9 and FG10)

FG10 : 1 FG with 2 SunFire V490 - Solaris 10 - SRSS 3.1 - Gnome 2.6 (JDS3)
FG9: 1 FG with 2 Sunfire 4900 domain - Solaris 9 - SRSS 3.0 - Gnome 2.0

All systems have the latest SRSS patches (if possible).

The target is to be able to migrate my users from the desktop StarOffice5.2
(and gnome 2.0) on FG9 to a JDS3 desktop with StarOffice 8 (evolution,mozilla
... ) on FG10.

I have set a DHCP server for a subnet x.x.x.0 /24 on FG9 (utadm -A)
Macro SunRay-x.x.x.0 :
    AuthSvr: x.x.x.10
    AltAuthSvr: x.x.x.10 x.x.x.11
x.x.x.1 DTU1 Macro SunRay-x.x.x.0 Reserved + permanent
x.x.x.2 DTU2 Macro SunRay-x.x.x.0 Reserved + permanent
x.x.x.3 DTU3 Macro SunRay-x.x.x.0 Reserved + permanent

I have also set a DHCP server on FG10 with the same subnet x.x.x.0 (utadm
-A)
Macro SunRay-x.x.x.0:
    AuthSvr: x.x.x.20
    AltAuthSvr: x.x.x.20 x.x.x.21
No ip configured on it

My problem is:

when i want to migrate for example DTU1 to FG10, i set the DHCP like below:
FG9
x.x.x.1 DTU1 Macro SunRay-x.x.x.0 Unusable
x.x.x.2 DTU2 Macro SunRay-x.x.x.0 Reserved /permanent
x.x.x.3 DTU3 Macro SunRay-x.x.x.0 Reserved /permanent

FG10
x.x.x.1 DTU1 Macro SunRay-x.x.x.0 Reserved /permanent

This seems to be a good idea but the result is :
DTU1, DTU2, DTU3 goes to the AuthSvr on FG10...

Anyone have a solution for explicitly tell to one DTU to connect to the right
FG?

Daniel Fischer
