You should file a bug report through whatever channel you'd usually
use to report problems. If that's too painful you can just mail me
the information and I'll pass it on to the right people.

It would be very helpful if you could include a packet capture
showing the DHCP traffic, especially the response that appears to
crash the Sun Ray. If you can't get a packet capture then a list
of the options and values being offered by the DHCP server would be
a good start, but the server has a lot of leeway in how it packs
the data into a response so there's no guarantee we'd be able to
reproduce the problem given just this information.

What DHCP implementation are you using to serve DHCP to these
Sun Rays? (Solaris, ISC, QIP, some release of MS Windows, ...?)

To get the Sun Rays to boot did you remove options from the
response or did you reduce the amount of data associated with some
options? Which options were these?

How sure are you that the DTU is crashing? If it doesn't receive
an acceptable DHCP response within a certain interval then it'll
reset itself and start over anyway. If it consistently restarts
as soon as it sees this response rather than waiting for some
number of seconds, or if bizarre things happen on-screen, those
would point towards an actual crash.
