Hi all,

I tried to install SRSS 3.1 on a PC with Solaris 10 x86 (03/05). At the moment, I do not have a service contract with SUN, thus I could not use Solaris 10 (01/06).

After configuring SRSS, I get the following error messages in /var/opt/SUNWut/log/messages over and over again:
"... utxconfig: file /var/opt/SUNWut/preferences/DEFAULT does not exist"
"... utxconfig: file /var/opt/SUNWut/preferences/pseudo/080020fda6f9 does not exist"

The SunRay (with MAC 080020fda6f9) gets stuck with 26D. Neither the files nor the directory /var/opt/SUNWut/preferences does exist. I had a look at the man-page for utxconfig (which did not help me too much). Any hints?

Yours,
Guido

P.S. I have installed SRSS several times on Solaris 8 (Sparc) and Debian Sarge and never bothered about utxconfig. Did I missing anything important so far? :-)
