You should be OK with adding the sparc/x86 patches to the patch matrix on the end of the lines
starting:
5.8:sparc:3.1:................
5.9:sparc:3.1:................
5.10:sparc:3.1:..............
5.10:i386:3.1:................
Any then running the copy_product_patches script as before. I haven't tried this yet due to being on a project in Singapore and not having access to my home demo/test servers. Will test this when I get back to the UK, which might not be for a while yet.
It should be OK, as the module applies the patch before running utconfig/utadm etc.
If you have any issues let me know and I will see what I can do

Hello,
I was wondering if I could add this patch to the sunray patch.matrix and
copy the patch media to the correct location in order to add this sunray
patch to the jumpstart?
I am a bit unsure because of the warning in the readme:
** WARNING: This patch should only be applied to systems which have
Sun Ray Server Software 3.1 fully installed. Do not attempt
to add this patch to the UFS image to be applied as part of
the install process **
This patch redelivers the
/etc/opt/SUNWut/smartcard/probe_order.conf file.
If you have modified this file, the changes will be lost, and
you will need to make the same changes to the new copy.
Any comments?
Ivar
