Its running ubuntu and had upgraded the kernel to 2.6.12-10-386
after rebooting wdm apears to be in a pickle.
The sunray will start get and ip address and start the xserver (you
can see the screen redraw with the hatched pattern) but then die
immediately and restart.
I suspect wdm because although wdm starts fine it does not stop
unless i kill -9 it.
attached is an strace of wdm any ideas greatly appreciated.
