How can that be a srss bug.  hostname.* files are for hostnames only.

OK, the problem was my /etc/hostname.qfe0 contained the actual IP address, not 
the symbolic name. I think this is a bug with SRSS-3.1 (/opt/SUNWut/sbin/utadm 
script), since it should cope with plain IP addresses. Documentation should be 
more explicit about it also.
