Hi vladimir, you are right and I already specified my scanner firmware path in /etc/sane.d/snapscan.conf, but the program never arrive to the point where it should upload the firmware. In my previous message I said that the program stops after sending the lines I reported. I wasn't totally right because after some time something is exchanged in the socket. Anyway scanimage is still blocked.
