Hello! I have upgraded my SunRay server from SRSS-3.0 on Solaris 9 (Sparc) to SRSS-3.1 on Solaris 10 update 1 (X64). I now have problems using the danish keyboard layout. It works correctly on dtlogin on the console but not on the Sunrays.
I have applied patch 120880-01 (Patch for SRSS-3.1) and I am not using a KVM switch so I do not believe that I am running into bug 6344241, Otto was describing on this mailing list (the 07 Feb 2006). It is a clean installation of Solaris 10 update 1 with NO patches applied. The danish keyboard should identify itself as type 6,6 but it seems like Xsun gets a 6,0. That is why it normally loads the US6.kt keyboard layout instead of Denmark6.kt. In SRSS-3.0 is just made a hack and changed a line in the file /usr/openwin/etc/keytables/keytable.map: 6 0 US6.kt to 6 0 Denmark6.kt And it worked (I do not recall that I made any other changes). The same trick do not work in SRSS-3.1. Am I missing something? How can I get the danish keyboard layout on the Sunrays again?
