Sun Ray tries very hard to ignore virtual interfaces. IPMP can
work, but it only works properly if you arrange to use "physical"
interfaces for data transfer and use virtual interfaces for IPMP
test addresses.

On a standalone server this configuration can work, more or less
by accident.

In a failover group it could appear to work but it wouldn't really be
working in the way in which you intended. It would appear to work
only because of a bug (6399233) and when that bug gets fixed this
configuration will fail.

If IPMP in a failover group is important to you then you should open
a support call against RFE 6405408 and get its priority increased.
