Try making the XFILESSEARCHPATH environment change just before running ttwebtop.

If you are using CAM, create a small script which sets this variable and then launches ttwebtop. You can then configure your script as the CAM application.

If you are running under a graphical local login, you can also set up a small script.

I think that the problem is that the utcu# CAM user's aren't sourcing the /etc/profile when they login. Which is probably a good thing.

Hello Craig,

Yes, I can do both.

How are are you getting? I assume you get to the main SGD screen then you click logon and that's when the error happens? What happens if you hit classic webtop, can you log in that way?

Can you open a terminal windows and ensure that the XFILESEARCHPATH exists?

When I log into the machine via telnet I get

bash-3.00# echo $XFILESEARCHPATH
/opt/csw/lib/X11/%T/%N%C:/usr/openwin/lib/X11/%T/%N%C:/etc/dt/app-defaults/%L/%N:/etc/dt/app-defaults/C/%N:/usr/dt/app-defaults/%L/%N:/usr/dt/app-defaults/C/%N:/usr/openwin/lib/locale/%L/%T/%N%S:/usr/openwin/lib/%T/%N%S

However, when I open a terminal session on the Sun Ray I get nothing for "echo $XFILESEARCHPATH". I am setting this in /etc/profile

XFILESEARCHPATH=/opt/csw/lib/X11/%T/%N%C:/usr/openwin/lib/X11/%T/%N%C:/etc/dt/app-defaults/%L/%N:/etc/dt/app-defaults/C/%N:/usr/dt/app-defaults/%L/%N:/usr/dt/app-defaults/C/%N:/usr/openwin/lib/locale/%L/%T/%N%S:/usr/openwin/lib/%T/%N%S
export XFILESEARCHPATH

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Andreas
