What model of Edgeport adapter are you
trying to use? Is it on the list of supported
devices?
Unfortunately, since there is no standardization
around serial/parallel USB adapters, each unit
is proprietary, and even within a vendor's offerings
the models are most often incompatible. We have
ported some specific models from specific vendors.

Attached to the DTU is an EdgePort. The SunRay
server are in Failover mode. We are testing failover
in this scenario. The debug utparalleld is looping
trying to create the device files.

Any advise. What does it mean by
new owner is [<no_one>] et cetera. This is causing
my application to not being able to open the device
file for out (unable to lock the file error)
