Looks like you are running Beta version of Sun Ray Connector, then use "-r
scard:off" CLI option with uttsc to turn off smart card redirection (but you can stil
continue to use your smart card for creating session & for hotdesking purpose... but
can't do PKI login or e-mail signing/encryption etc...)
If you use Beta Refresh of Sun Ray connector(available for download throuh Sun download
center), by default Smart Card redirection is turned off. So, you won't see the warning
message that you are talking about... But in future if you plan to do PKI login, E-Mail
encryption/signing..... use "-r scard:on" to redirect the Sun Ray Smart Card
device...

Subject: [SunRay-Users] Sunray connector + Smartcards = Windows complains about
smartcard drivers
To: SunRay-Users mailing list <[email protected]>
Hello,
I receive the MS Windows message on page 9 of the following document
during logon:
www.sun.com/sunray/whitepapers/CTX_SmartCard5.pdf
"The card supplied requires drivers that are not on the system. Please
try another card"
Nice try but all my cards are the same micro payflex smartcards;-)
The document is about citrix but it seems like the same
functionality is
now possible with the Sunray Connector.
Since the document is a bit outdated all the links in the document are
not available anymore.
Is there someone who can tell me how to get rid of this message during
the windows logon?
Ivar
