I have attempted the following:

However, this still leaves the image flickery and cloudy.

Ray and the TV? Did it come with documentation saying
precisely what timing and signalling conventions it
expects (or requires) on the VGA side?
I have a Toshiba 32AX60 (Basically a 32" TV) with a

The Technical Specifications on the TV detail:
Television System: NTSC Standard
Video/Audio terminals:
S-Video Input:
Y-Input: 1 V (p-p), 75 ohm, negative sync.
C-Input: 0.286 V (p-p), (burst signal), 75 ohm
Video/Audio Input:
Video: 1 V (p-p), 75 ohm, negative sync.
Audio: 150 mV (rms) (30% modulation equivalant 47 kohm)
The "Color Stream" ports are not documented other than listings
as "Y Cb Cr".
Any pointers for a converter or hacks are appreciated.
I am reading references to NTSC resolutions for 704x480.
Is this resolution supported?
The list of supported timings is shown by 'utresdef'.
704x480 is not one of them.
As far as I can tell from a quick Google most converters
want [EMAIL PROTECTED] on the VGA input but that says
nothing about Hsync and Vsync timing and nothing
about composite/separate sync or sync signal polarity
or interlacing. A good converter can probably accept
and compensate for lots of variance in those parts of
the signal, a poor one may depend on the VGA signal
having very specific properties.
Any suggested converters?
