Bob,

I am using SuSE 9 32-bit with the sun supplied GDM without problem.
However, I am trying a new SuSE 9 64-bit and it appears that the
32-bit compatibility libs are older and or missing. Thus, I found a
post by Otto mentioning that xdm should work on SuSE releases. It
seems to work except that the restart of the Session after logout fails.

We are hoping to be on the 2.6Beta but don't the Sun Rep that did our
NDA presentation last week was not sure if/when one might be available.

Anyway, any idea why the session would not get restarted when we use
xdm?
