Gnopernicus is part of JDS.
You can find it under  Launch -> Applications -> Accessibility -> Screen 
Reader and Magnifier.
It has quite and extensive speech output function for navigation within 
JDS and text to speech.
It even works well on WAN connected Sunrays (8 Mbit).

You should look at this first  I think.
