Does that show up as a comport under $UTDEVROOT/dev/term? That's not a cable we've ever certified.

You can a list of units @ http://www.sun.com/io_technologies/sunray.html

How are you doing the serial port mapping from Windows? Do you have the printer set to 9600 8/N/1

What rev of Sun Ray are you using? (you can use utwho -c and you will see the P#. MAC_ADRESS of the Sun Ray).

I am trying to connect a "fiscal printer" in a Sunray 1 and use it in a Windows 2003 application using the comport function. The printer has an RS-232 port, so I am trying to use it with an USB/Serial Adapter (the one that comes with a Palm m100). When I try to send a file to the fiscal printer, an OSD messages appear "Bus Busy - 16D", and the only solution is ti reset the SunRay.
Suggestions?
