Steve,
if the reboots are constant at a specific time interval make sure your
lease negotiation is setup in the macro. I had mine missing and my
SunRay's would reboot every time their lease expired. OttoM pointed me
too it.. Once I set that up, they don't reboot now.

OK, I am an idiot ;-)
The access violation is from teh 1st request. the CoronaP7.mac.params
doesn't exist.
Every time the units check for their firmware they generate this errors
(this includes at lease renewal).
The constant reboots seems to be related to a different issue I have not
resolved yet, but may be due to NewTVer and .parms not matching.

We use a central dhcp server. It still has the older firmware in the
NewTVer.
But we also use the .parms file which has the newver version.
Note that only the tftpboot server is currently running the 3.1 -03
firmware.
tftp works fine. I can grab the file. It appears to be a problem
installing after download.

How are you configuring your Sun Rays? (DHCP, DNS name, option 66, etc)
The 1G's shouldn't be downloading this firmware file, the P7 file is
for the 170s
Can you tftp any firmware file from another machine?

I am getting the follwing errors when a sunray tries to download
it's firmware.
sr-san-31p1.qualcomm.com -> dhcp10-43-132-7.qualcomm.com TFTP
Error: access violation
The file it is trying to grab is:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root sys 303555 Jul 2 11:15
CoronaP7-3.1_120879-03_2006.04.03.16.51
It appears to only be effecting my SunRay 1g's.
Thanks
