We have a strange issue with Cadence software that reproducibly makes
the xserver reset when run on a SunRay session. This is independent of
the desktop used (tested Gnome and Kde) and does not write any
meaningful log entries neither to /var/log/messages nor to the user's
.xsession-errors or /var/opt/SUNWut/log/messages. Cadence support tells
us it is a SunRay problem and our Sun support partner does not know
anything about SunRay at all - which leaves me without log files to
analyze and nothing to investigate this further - are there any Cadence
users running SunRays out there that have experienced a similar problem?

Kind regards

~christian
