This is no problem if you use a known-compatible device. :) I have an
Edgeport by InsideOut Networks. It gives me four DE-9 serial ports, I
use it on a Sun Ray 1 with SRSS v2. I got it on eBay, I think I paid
about $30 for it. It works very well.
