With out -g option hotdesking won't work in a HA group.
That is, if one have smartcard session in Server A and then move
to a DTU connected to Server B in the same HA group, will not
redirect to Server A and creates the new session on Server B.

So '-g' option is mandatory in a HA group to get the hotdesking functionality
working. I guess utpolicy man page doesn't give clear information about
the purpose -g option.

Thanks

What is the -g for? The man pages say it is to allow the user to choose which
server the session is to run on. Why do I need this flag?

Create a policy for cards-only.

e.g. # utpolicy -a -z card -g

Or use the web admin GUI.

It seams like I've seen this somewhere. How do you require that all users must login with a smartcard?

Thanks,
