Correct, it will not run on the console. Only from a Sun Ray Session.

I gather that the SRC is not designed to work on the console?
When I run it on the SunRay I get the following:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/opt/SUNWuttsc/bin> ./uttsc 192.168.2.45
/opt/SUNWuttsc/lib/uttsc-bin: relocation error:
/opt/SUNWut/lib/libutadmin.so.1: undefined symbol: gdbm_close
It seams the "nrio: no target or session found" is a result of executing on the
console?

Are you on a Sun Ray session or on the console?

OK, first time to use SRC so I may be using it all wrong.
I have it on a JDS2 Linux box fully updated running SRSS 3.1
(patched to 120881-04). Below is what I do and what I get:
srs1:/opt/SUNWuttsc/bin # ./uttsc 192.168.2.45
nrio: no target or session found
/opt/SUNWuttsc/lib/uttsc-bin: relocation error:
/opt/SUNWut/lib/libutadmin.so.1: undefined symbol: gdbm_close
