Hey folks. I seem to recall SRSS3 not supporting Solaris10 on SPARC at
one point...Can I run Sun Ray terminals from an UltraSPARC-based
machine (T1000 in particular) running Solaris10?
SRSS 3.1 will support Solaris 10 SPARC or x86, but only will run
in the global zone.

If so, what's the situation with zones...can they be run from within a
zone, or must they run from the root zone?
I have a stack of Netra T1-105s running various services (mail, DNS,
monitoring, WWW, etc) and an eight-CPU, 8GB E3500 being used for
software development and electronic design, all running Solaris9, with
the Sun Rays running from the E3500. I'm considering replacing the
whole slew of them with one T1000 running Solaris10 with zones. The
only snag I've found so far is the lack of 1Gbps FibreChannel support
for the T1000, which will suck because all this stuff is plugged into
a 1Gbps FC SAN which can't currently be upgraded. Any suggestions on
that front will be most welcome, though I realize that's off-topic.
