Hi all,
we have encountered display update problems with our apps. When
clicking around on icons some other parts of the application are
covered with white, scrolling in comboboxes sometimes does not update
the display correctly (some areas on the screen are not updated
correctly), scrolling in a text view does not update the view
accordingly [remains white where we should see text],... Our first
thought was this must be a bug in our libraries or somewhere deep in
GNUstep (-> back). However, others do not encounter this kind of
problem on other Unix flavors (Linux,...). So we thought this must be
somehow related to Solaris/GNUstep until we started to use SGD to
access the same machine. When accessing the machine via SGD everything
is fine. The problem can only be reproduced when using a Sun Ray. We
have installed the latest Sun Ray release (3.1).
Has anybody ever encountered a similar problem? Is this a known one?
