[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# ls -l /etc/opt/SUNWut/compatlinks/
total 0
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]#

I installed all the patches before installing SunRay and im pretty sure that i rebooted the machine after installing SunRay but im not 100% that i did it, so that could be the reason.

Anyway, i checked the RHE4 AS 32bit and it does have the compatlinks.

If i have time to install another 64bits, ill be careful with the reboot after installing and ill let you know about my results

thanks for the help.

   Hi,

You don't have to maually create these links.
If you follow the installation instructions then these links should be
   created
   under /etc/opt/SUNWut/compatlinks
   - Install RHEL 4 Update 3
   - Install SRSS
   - Reboot the system

Let me know if you did anything different.
From you email it looks like you have installed OS patches.
At what point did you install these patches.

You could run the following command and check if links are created

       # /opt/SUNWut/lib/utctl enable compatlinks
