Hello!
Thanks for your patience. My first email was written in a state of shock, because next week the semester will start and I need the lab up & running.

The setup is as follows. I've a Sun-Fire-V240 with SSRS 3.1. About 25 Rays are connecting to the server which runs in CAM mode. It automatically connects to one of four Windowsservers (2003) via rdesktop 1.4.1 . This worked for a year without any problems. No Windowmanager running.

I had a problem with USB-thumbdrives(rebooting server) this summer so I installed the Recommended Cluster. The first time I saw the problem is now 14 days ago. I've rebooted the server. The lab server/Rays were used only one time in the last 14 days, but I didn't encountered any problems. The server was rebooted on tuesday for other reasons. Today I had the problem again. As I said, I only see the grey background with the black cross. The network-connection between the Sun Server and the Windows server is working.

I know, not much information, but maybe someone has some input!

thanks

-jan

Hello!

After applying the latest recommended patchcluster to Solaris 10 and 118833-22, i've encountered the following problem. After a while of normal operation the sunrays stay for approx. 4 minutes with the grey background and the black X mouse pointer, than it connects (CAM mode - to windows 2003 server), the speed is than normal. Restarting the ssrs3.1 doesn't change anything. last time i've rebooted the whole sun which cleared the problem for 24 hours. But now I've the problem again.

Any help?

Thanks

-jan
