Hello,
at work, we have E250 with 5 SunRays 1. The operation system we use is
Solaris 9. Last week I applied the latest recommended patches and then I
upgraded all software from blastwave. Since then one user is unable to
run a Tcl/Tk application; she is getting this error message:
X Error of failed request: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 53 (X_CreatePixmap)
Serial number of failed request: 551
Current serial number in output stream: 579
I learnt that this is a bug in Xlib, but what puzzles me is that other
users can run that application. This user with problems uses CDE while
others use Gnome or Xfce, but I tried all the desktops and I am able to
run the application in all of them. I also asked her to try another
SunRay with another monitor (because of color capabilities) and the
result was the same. She can even run an older Tcl/Tk application which
we had used before. Has anyone an idea what I should check in her settings?
