I believe SRSS is still available for free unlimited use. But yes, Sun has done a "take back" on SGD for some reason. After a big announcement that both SRSS and SGD where going to be open sourced, Sun quietly reversed direction on SGD. Christopher Saul, Sun Desktop Sales Manager, promised us an explanation 3 weeks ago on the SGD Users mailing list (http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sgd-users) but no word yet.
Someone also pointed out that a ThinkThin blog talking about the subject has also been deleted. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:sunray-users- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of ssdsds fffdddd > Sent: Monday, October 30, 2006 11:58 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [SunRay-Users] SunRay Server & Sun SGD > > Hi, > > Some time ago i've noticed that SunRay Server and SGD was free and only > need > to pay if you want Support.
