thanks for your reply. It's not very optimistic...

anybody here using a more recent release of Gnome instead of Sun Gnome
2.6 (as in blastwave for example)?

And i wonder if i had to reboot servers regularly

  4:16pm  up 62 day(s),  6:57,  30 users,  load average: 2.78, 2.58, 2.58
serv2-root% uptime
  4:14pm  up 30 day(s),  6:16,  6 users,  load average: 0.34, 0.39, 0.78

there are many users that never logout, is it bad?
i suppose it is bad from the sysadmin point of view, but for users one,
it is very comfortable that they don't have to re-login every day, and
re-launch their preferred apps. What's the preferable way? or what are
everybody doing here?
