Only serial port cradles will get created there.
Only serial port cradles will be able to sync via windows
For USB cradles and syncing to Solaris you'd need to use libusb and
coldsync.

Hi,
I'm trying to setup a palm pda via usb on a sunray 1 terminal. The
install guide doesn't spell out the steps for usb.
I was expecting to see an entry under
/tmp/SUNWut/units/"macgoeshere"/dev and/or devices after I plugged in
the palm. They are both emtpy when viewed as root. I started a hotsync -
no joy. I tried another unit - no joy. I went into the admin tool and
verified all devices are enabled. I searched the logs in
/var/opt/SUNWut/log and normal logs w/o joy.
Should a device be created?
What doc should I read for troubleshooting the lack of devices?
Thanks!
Jared
