I answer to myself 'cause I found what went wrong.
For the record.
When installing Solaris10, you are asked at some point
if you'd like to enable remote services (yes/no).
The error I did was answering "no".
With a "yes" instead, everything is now fine.
Hope it'll help someone somewhere ...

I've tested it twice (on another V240) and it does the same.
What wrong did I do ?
What can I do to make it work ?
I've spent several hours testing for whatever my tired brain
can think of, but I'm afraid the Christmas champagne laid too
much damage ! :)
