I'm not sure about what exactly codabar or telepen means, but we have two sunrays with handheld USB BarCode scanners. We use Symbol LS 2208s and they work really well.

Hiya,

We have scanners that are USB HIDs so the SunRay should see them as normal keyboards. Assuming a SunRay can have multiple keyboards this should work perfectly.

Dear all,

we're looking for an USB flat bed scanner (entry-level), compatible with
our Sun Ray system running on Solaris 9 / Sparc.

Whilst on the subject of Scanners. Can anyone suggest any BarCode Scanners that will do Codabar (Numeric) and Telepen (Numeric or Alphanumeric) and work well on SunRay 1g / Solaris 10 Sparc.

Thanks
