We are heavily using MATLAB 6.5.1 and 7.3 on Solaris 10/SRSS 3.1/SPARC with the latest patches without any problems and we hvae been using older 7.x versions in similar configurations for the last 1.5 years.
I am curious whether this problem is linked to a specific version of Matlab or the Xsun server patch level.
