I am trying to develop a software stack on my SunRay/Solaris 10 network which operates the way the WinAmp/ShoutCast stack works in the Windows world.
By using the Tarantella product and VNC my desktop can be seen securely(relatively) anywhere in the world. While I am conducting a class I want to simultaneously(nearly) broadcast my voice to those who may be watching my desktop. Is their a way to configure my Sunrays so that I can hook a microphone to a Sunray device then make the audio from my microphone available to someone watching the class? I have found so far that their is a Shoutcast product for Solaris which I can use but the bridge from the Sunray appliance to the Shoutcast server is hard to figure out for me. Has anyone done anything like this and can you point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance. Warren Sheaffer 651-699-5006
