On a new sunray server (srss 3.1 on Solaris 10 update 2) that I built this week, I've got a weird problem: Sunray sessions run perfectly, but the web Admin GUI kept giving me permission denied errors. After comparing configs with another server in the FOG, I noticed that several directories in /tmp/SUNWut/config and the files in them were set as root:root, instead of root:utadmin for permissions. I ran a chgrp -R utadmin on the offending directories and things seemed to go back to normal. However, the permissions were changed back to root:root a few hours later!
Any ideas? I'd rather not have to make a cron job to reset permissions on these files every day. David Cuny Unix/Linux System Admin State Street Kansas City [EMAIL PROTECTED]
