xkb extension can by turned on on Xsun server (as I now). Try command
/opt/SUNWut/bin/utxconfig

Anyway, I tried to switch xkb extension and it didn't get me any error
message. But I was not able to switch between keyboard layout, while I
don't have Slovak keyboard layout for Xsun server... :(
