If you install Solaris 10 11/06 through the serial port, or in text mode, it
will most likely don't ask you if you want to run in "more secure mode"...
Well, it does when installing from scratch.

The problem is that, in the more secure mode, Sun Ray Server won't be able
to operate normally. You need to do the following command to ensure all
services needed are started:

# netservices open

and then your Sun Ray Server will work correctly. I'm not sure if it will
be needed when upgrading to 11/06, however, but you may just keep it in
mind, in case of... ;-)

Objet : [SunRay-Users] Upgrading Solaris OS with SRSS installed

Hello,

We intend to upgrade our servers’ SPARC Solaris 10 3/05 HW2B5 release to
Solaris 10 11/06. We have installed on them SRSS 3.1 in failover. Are there
any known issues or special requirements?

Thank you,

Mihai
