DHCP is very easy to configure manually, TFTP is as well. You could get a remote gdm login through XDMCP (slow!), VNC (not supported), or NX (there even a solaris port?). But installing SRSS on the server your serving desktops from sure makes things a lot easier. That utswitch command is sure great to plunk users on which ever server you want.

Speaking of utswitch, I have a question myself. utswitch is great for CAM scripts, but is there anyway for an admin to move sessions around manually? You would think 'utswitch -k <TOKEN> -h <HOST>' would be handy.. If it worked.

Hello,

Is it possible to use Sunray's with existing Linux servers without SRSS installed on it (a kind of manual configuration of DHCP, TFTP and existing GDM in my mind) ?

Thanks,

Bernard
