Hi,

I installed about 35 SR2's for a hospital in our region a few months ago. The DTU's are on a shared network, get their DHCP information from a Windows 2003 EE server and are able to find the SRSS thanks to a couple DNS entries (sunray-config-servers & sunray-servers). These DTU's are separated from the SRSS by a WAN link and this is where we have a bit of a problem. The users are experiencing "jaggy" or "slow redraws" thanks to packet loss - very noticeable w/ lots of graphics or scrolling. I confirmed packet loss (25-40%) thanks to a coupe ut scripts and from the client side (via my laptop & ping -l) I confirmed the maximum packet size is 1273. So, now my question is - how and where do I change this? Due to circumstances at the customer site, I'd rather not have to ask for vendor specific options to be added to their Windows DHCP servers, unless necessary. I do have full control of the Solaris SRSS server and if there's anything I can do on this side to adjust or force a different MTU value, that would be ideal. Thoughts or recommendations welcome!

Thanks,
Jason
