The release date hasn't been announced yet. It's usually six or eight weeks after the beta finishes. On that basis my guess would be in the first half of August. On the technical side it has to go through at least one more QA cycle to verify the fixes for last-minute bugs, including some that were reported during the beta. On the non-technical side the Marketing announcements need to be finalised and assorted other paperwork has to be completed and signed off before Sun considers the product ready to ship.
