Hi Guys,
Last night I thought I'd see if i could upgrade my Ubuntu Feisty
SunRay system to SRSS 4u2. To cut a long story short, it didn't work -
no problem i thought, so i just purged the packages (dpkg --purge
sunwxxxx) and reinstall SRSS 3.1.1, something I have done many times now....
However, when I reinstall all my Sun Rays get 22D - closer inspection
reveals utauthd doesn't run.... I try and start it manually but it just
terminates, no errors are reported, nothing appears to be visible in the
logs...
It is almost like something is "hanging" around from the previous
install/upgrade. i am pretty sure I am installing SRSS 3.1.1 OK, because
I have done that about a dozen times now.
Anyone got any pointers?
If it helps, I have noticed when I start the service (zsunray-init) I
get the following output...
sudo /etc/init.d/zsunray-init start
