Subject: [SunRay-Users] Slow GNOME startup in CAM mode
Hello,
We are trying to deploy 200+ SunRay in Solaris 10. We are required to show a
GNOME session in CAM (kiosk) mode to avoid login screen.
After restarting the session or after re-plug, GNOME session is displayed 2
minutes later!!! (big delay, isn't it?)
If we disable CAM mode GNOME starts up in just 10 seconds after login.
Thanks in advance,
Emilio.
Hi Emilio
There is an article on speeding up CAM on the sun blog site.
The ideas there certainly speeded things up for us.
