SRSS for Linux is a 32bit thing. I tried once to install it on a x64 Debian box. Step by step I installed all the necessary 32bit libraries and a 32bit JRE (necessary since the Java code somewhere in SRSS loads some dynamic library - of course a 32 bit one). Then I realized that the SRSS PAM modules /opt/SUNWut/lib/pam_*.so are also 32bit only. So you need a 32 bit PAM stack, and each and every program that uses the PAM stack (login, ssh, gdm,...) must be 32 bit, too... One possible solution is a 32 bit userland + 64 bit kernel combination. A better solution...perhaps we should all add to our sig files "Ceterum censeo SRSS should be open-sourced" Regards, Meik -- Meik Hellmund Mathematisches Institut, Uni Leipzig e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.math.uni-leipzig.de/~hellmund _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users
