Have you confirmed the MTU setting? I do not recall if the upgrade resets this
setting, but it's worth checking out.

Subject: [SunRay-Users] SRSS 4.0 (09/07) low bandwidth users have poor
performance after upgrade

I recently upgraded from 3.1 to 4.0 09/07. After doing so my satellite
office which only has a 3meg connection now has its DTU registering
85% packet loss. The satellite office's router has DHCP Relay and the
SRS gives out the IPs for the satellite.

Before upgrading we had great performance. The only option we were
passing it previously

One thing I have noticed, the DTUs don't have the firmware SRS says it
should have upon their next power-on. The latest firmware should be
4.0_48_2007.08.01.15.48.

The DTUs have various firmware. For example, one of them is 4.08
2006.04.12.14.46

The current barrier level for all the DTUs that I've randomly looked
at is 310. I believe the barrier level caps the firmware but I don't
know for sure.
