Unfortuantly using cde then logging into a terminal server gives strange alt+mouse button behaviour minimising the window & moving it around the screen. The old 3.1 did not do this. The generic x session script I saw a post for the other week works well though. The cam chooser script looks quite nice without a window manager but the fonts are much smaller.

You can choose CDE and then create another app pointing to the script, or if you don't want a windowing manager just create a new session descriptor.
